HARTFORD, Connecticut – Ted Sergi, Interim CEO of the MetroHartford Alliance, will welcome speakers Walter Harrison, President of the University of Hartford, and ESPN’s Rece Davis to the MetroHartford Alliance’s Rising Star Breakfast, Tuesday, February 9 at the Marriott Hartford Downtown, 200 Columbus Blvd, Hartford at 7:30 a.m. The breakfast’s theme is “Sports as an Economic Driver”.

The Hartford Region is home to many sporting events events including the Travelers Championship, Big East Basketball, the Hartford Wolfpack and many other professional, collegiate, high school and recreational sporting activities. Nearly 250 business, civic, educational and political leaders from throughout the Region have registered to attend the breakfast, the Alliance’s monthly signature event for its members.
