In a recent interview he talked about the thyroid and the role this gland plays within the body: "The thyroid gland is a very important, yet often an overlooked part of our endocrine system. This is causing other health problems, such as excessive weight gain, depression, problems sleeping, fatigue, and irritable bowels; among other problems.
